our art...On stage we make confessions, and we
transform spaces. We cross boundaries and we take
our thoughts and concerns beyond limits.
And here today I express my indignation at the
insistence of all kinds of authority to make
permanent the transience of artistic events, to
impose the idea that all we deserve is a wretched
levelling of us all, since the only answer we receive
to our endless dialogic discussions is an attempt at
monologue.

tonight and wait for them to hammer in the nails on
a cross I myself elected to carve out.”
- ranging from Martha Graham School in the USA, Rallou
Manou in Athens to Laban Center in London. Among her
collaborative works "O Spanos" (Experimental Pedagogical
Music Program with the Ministry of Education and
Culture), and several dance theater creations with the
music association Terpsichoria of Cyprus University can
be counted. She taught kinesiology at several colleges
and at The University of Cyprus. She also worked as a
choreographer for The Greek National gymnastics team.
Christodoulidou is the director of Dance and Theatre
Workshop in Nicosia since 1990, and in 1998, has founded
Amfidromo Chorotheatro, a non profit organization for
dance. Currently, she is active as dancer and
choreographer in the works of Amfidromo Chorotheatro.

Et puisque personne ne va m’écouter, je m’assieds

clous dans la croix que j’ai moi-même choisi de
sculpter.
Graham School aux Etats Unis, Rallou Manou à Athènes

de musique expérimentale pédagogique) et plusieurs
créations de dance théâtre avec l’association de musique
Terpsichoria of Cyprus University peuvent être comptées
parmis ses œuvres collaboratives. Elle a enseigné la
kinésiologie dans plusieurs collèges et à l’université de
Chypre. Elle a, en plus, travaillé comme chorégraphe
pour l’équipe nationale grecque de gymnastique.
Christodoulidou est la directrice de l’atelier théâtre et
danse à Nicosie depuis 1990, et en 1998, elle a fondé
Amfidromo Choroteatro, une organisation à but non
lucratif pour la danse. Elle est en ce moment active
comme danseuse et chorégraphe dans les œuvres
d’Amfidromo Chorotheatro.
